If you buy Windows 7 but somehow you get message “Windows is not Genuine in Windows 7”, the solution is:

1. Click Windows button on the left bottom of your screen
2. Type cmd
3. Run cms as an Administrator
4. Type: slmgr /rearm. In other version such as Windows 8 maybe you could type: slmgr -rearm
5. Restart your computer

If you get message:

“on a computer running microsoft windows non-core edition run ‘slui.exe 0x2a 0x80070422”

It means your “Software Protection” is disabled. You should enable it and then run the slmgr /rearm.

To activate the Software Protection:

1. Click Windows button on the left bottom of your screen
2. Type services
3. Run services as an Administrator
4. Click Software Protection property
5. Enable it
6. Start it

If you get message “the maximum allowed number of rearms has been exceeded” in Windows 7 you should run regedit.exe

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/SoftwareProtectionPlatform

Click “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE”.
Click “SOFTWARE”.
Click “Microsoft”.
Click “Windows NT”.
Click “CurrentVersion”.

Click  “SoftwareProtectionPlatform” .
Right click on “SkipRearm” in the right window.
Click on “Modify”. Change “Value Data” to “1”.
