Slideshow Gallery is the best WordPress Plugin I have seen. Yet sometimes there are some problems. The plugin is not working for some websites.
Luckily I have some websites on different web hostings that use the plugin. Some websites don’t work, but others work.
The error message is as follow:
A TimThumb error has occured
The following error(s) occured:
- Could not create the index.html file – to fix this create an empty file named index.html file in the cache directory.
- Could not create cache clean timestamp file.
Query String : src=wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery/about%20sendai%201.jpg&w=100&h=75&q=100&a=t
TimThumb version : 2.8.10
Well, I see the permission for folder wp-content/uploads is 755. Actually it should be enough. But in the reality, it doesn’t work.
So I change the permission of the folder to 775.
I go to Slideshow>Manage Slides
I edit the Slides so the image reapper and save it.
And the plugin is working as good as it should be!
